To help protect your eyes from the harmful effects of the sun (like macular degeneration and cataracts), Acuvue 2 includes Class 2 UV blocking, which blocks 88% of UVA rays and 99% of UVB rays.

Acuvue 2 contacts are two-week daily wear contacts, meaning you can wear them for up to two weeks, but they need to be cleaned every night to maintain your eye health. Scheduled cleanings will also remove unwanted buildup like particles and proteins.
